I went to Cheekwood on a hot day and thought I might regret it because of all the walking outside. I’m usually a little skeptical when places say they’re “prepared” for weather, especially since customer service can be hit or miss, so I wasn’t expecting much.

But it ended up being totally fine. There were more shady areas than I thought there would be, and plenty of spots to sit down and cool off for a minute. The staff actually gave clear, simple directions about where to go if the heat got to be too much, which was a nice surprise.

Overall, it was a really nice way to spend a few hours. I’d definitely bring water and wear comfortable shoes, but I’d go back again for sure.

Stopped by on a Saturday. Expected it to be a mess, honestly. It was busy, yeah, but not packed to the point of being annoying. Lines kept moving. People seemed to know what they were doing. Not bad at all...

Stopped in during our visit and the coffee and sandwiches were tasty. It’s an easy place to grab something quick. Not saying anyone was trying to rush us out or anything, but the vibe did feel a bit like they wanted people in and out fast

I’ve had the membership for a while now, and it’s been a great value since we visit often. The parking perks and guest passes have come in handy more than once, so it definitely feels like it pays off after a few trips. My only small gripe is that booking certain events can be a little clunky sometimes, but overall I’ve been really happy with it

The bathrooms and paths were super clean, even though it was a busy day. I had a nice visit overall, but I did feel a little ignored at times, like staff were too busy to really acknowledge people.

I still remember opening it and thinking, okay, this better be good for the price. it was. It felt worth it once I actually used it, even though I did hesitate a little before buying because it’s definitely kind of pricey. I’m glad I got it, but I do wish it had been a bit cheaper

I loved the lights!! They look great, were easy to set up, and just made the whole space feel so much nicer!!! Super happy with them!!

Went to Cheekwood and the restrooms were easy to find in a few spots, but when you're wandering around they’re not always super close. Most were clean enough, just got a little messy later in the day, and one stall was out of toilet paper. Not awful or anything, just feels like they could check them a bit more often. I’d say 3 stars.

We visited Cheekwood the signs made everything super easy!! Parking, the gardens, restrooms, everything was clearly marked. We barely had to check our phones, which made the whole day feel way more relaxed and enjoyable.

We had a really good time on the guided tour. It was easy to follow, and I had a good feeling about it from the start. The kids also got a lot out of the education program and came away actually excited about what they learned

The gift shop was nice enough, and I did find a couple cute things to take home. That said, the selection felt small, especially if you’re hoping for a good variety of souvenirs. Prices were fine, I guess, not amazing, but not bad either. It’s a decent stop if you’re already there and don’t mind keeping your expectations low

There were actually a good number of benches around, which was nice when we got tired and needed a break. I’ll give credit there, though whoever runs this should make sure they keep them clean and in good shape.

It’s a really place and I’m glad I went, but the photo rules were kind of confusing. It felt like that whole hassle could’ve been avoidable with clearer signs or a quick explanation...

I went to a wedding/private event at Cheekwood, and the grounds really are gorgeous. The garden setting made everything feel special, and the photos turned out great, so I can totally see why people choose it for events.

That said, the setup wasn’t the smoothest. The flow was a little confusing, service felt slow here and there, and from the tone of some of the staff, I got the impression they were either stretched thin or dealing with a lot behind the scenes. Parking and signage could definitely be clearer too. Overall, it’s a beautiful place, but the event experience was just okay.

Took the kids to Cheekwood we had such a nice time. The gardens gave us plenty of room to wander around — which is always a win with kids, and the little activities kept them entertained without making the day feel rushed or chaotic. It was just an easy, slow family afternoon... the kind you’re always hoping for.

The place was really pretty, but the staff and volunteers didn’t come across as very helpful. We asked a couple of questions and mostly got short answers, so it literally felt like we were bothering them. For the price, I was expecting a little more guidance or engagement.

I booked tickets on cheekwood.org and it went through eventually, but the whole reservation process felt kind of clunky. The pages were a little slow, and I actually had to go back once because the time slot I chose didn’t seem to stick, which was annoying.

The confirmation email came through and we got in without any issues, so it worked out. But the reminder emails/texts felt a little aggressive for a simple ticket booking. Overall not terrible, just not the smoothest experience, especially if it’s your first time using the site.

The paths were really easy to walk, and the parking was close by, which made the whole visit so much less stressful. My mom was able to get around without any trouble, and that meant a lot to me. It’s such a relief when a place makes things simple and comfortable for everyone.

I liked the place overall, but the hours are just way too short. We ended up feeling rushed because they were closing soon, which kind of took away from the visit. Whoever runs this really needs to rethink the schedule because it could be a much better experience with more time.
